Don’t miss an evening of choral music with Unclouded Day at world-renowned Carnegie Hall.

Under the baton of Scott Buchanan, the National Festival Chorus will perform an array of choral works including Grotenhuis’ “Song of Triumph,” Hagenberg’s “O Love,” “Unclouded Day” arranged by Shawn Kirchner, and more.

The National Children’s Festival Chorus, led by esteemed guest conductor Henry Leck, will also perform a selection of choral works including Buxtehude's "In te Domine speravi," DIlworth's "Dreams," DiOrio’s “We Will Do Miracles,” Stopford’s “Irish Blessing,” and more.

The concert will also include a featured performance from Collegium Musicale Chamber Choir, led by conductor Endrik Üksvärav performing Cyrillus Kreek’s Estonian sacred folk song “Awake, my heart”; Arvo Pärt’s “Virgencita,” “Alleluia Tropus,“ and “Vater Unser“; the US premiere of Erkki-Sven Tüür’s Missa brevis; Pärt Uusberg’s “Miserere“; Veljo Tormis’ “Röntyskä V” (Dancing song) and Ending and going home” from Forgotten Peoples.

The Collegium Musicale Chamber Choir hails from Estonia and for three times this high-profile collective has been awarded with the title Choir of the Year (2011, 2014 and 2017). In 2018 Collegium Musicale and conductor Endrik Üksvärav won the Music Award of Estonian Cultural Endowment – for the brilliant promotion of Estonian choral music and for a dedicated and high-level presentation both in Estonia and abroad. The choir has given concerts in Estonia and on concert tours and festivals abroad: Italy, Israel, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Japan, Malta, the Netherlands, Russia, Poland etc. Its 10th season the choir started with a concert in Ukraine, where works of Estonian composer Arvo Pärt were performed in Kiev’s historic Sofia Cathedral. Collegium Musicale was founded by conductor Endrik Üksvärav in October 2010. The repertoire extends from renaissance to contemporary music. The special place in the repertoire belongs to the Estonian composers, incl. Arvo Pärt, Veljo Tormis, Erkki-Sven Tüür, Tõnu Kõrvits etc. The aim is to offer high level musical emotions and be the ambassadors of Estonian music.
