Hosted at New York City’s acclaimed Symphony Space, the New York City Jazz Festival gives instrumental and vocal jazz ensembles the opportunity to perform while receiving recorded comments from an outstanding panel of nationally-recognized jazz experts. The evening will include performances from New Mexico School for the Arts Jazz Combo, directed by Orlando Madrid, New Trier Swing Choir, directed by Nathan Landes, and The University of Rio Grande’s Grande Chorale & Jazz Ensemble with directors Dr. Sarin Williams & Dr. Chris Kenney.

The New York City Jazz Festival is also pleased to welcome the featured ensemble for the evening, UNT Jazz Singers, led by Jennifer Barnes.
