CREO: A U.S. Premiere with Manhattan Chorale

The acclaimed Manhattan Chorale returns to the intimate Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center for one night only with founder and conductor, Craig Arnold, and members of the all professional New York City Chamber Orchestra. Manhattan Chorale presents the U.S. premiere of CREO for mixed chorus, horn, strings, and percussion by renowned Korean composer Hyo-Won Woo with additional short works by Urmas Sisask, György Orbán, Gerald Finzi, Johannes Brahms, and Ralph Vaughan Williams. The concert will also feature guest conductor Phillip Shoultz, winner of the 2015 National American Choral Directors Association Graduate Student Conducting Competition, sponsored by Manhattan Concert Productions.

Manhattan Chorale is a professional choir based in New York City under the direction of its founder, Craig Arnold. They present a historical spectrum of choral masterworks both large and small, traditional and contemporary, and are advocates of new works.
