David Edmonds currently serves as Director of Choral Studies at the University of New Mexico. Before coming to UNM Dr. Edmonds was Director of Choral Activities at the University of Montana from 2012-2018 where, under his direction, the UM Chamber Chorale was invited to perform for the 2015 NAfME NW and 2016 NW ACDA Conferences—both first-time invitations in the choir’s history.
As an active member of the American Choral Directors Association, he has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Montana R&R Chair for Women’s Choirs and NWACDA R&R Chair for Student Activities. In 2018, he was appointed ACDA National R&R Chair for Student Activities.
